I was impressed by the variety of ideas to the
quality of her insight.

A Closer Look at our Portfolio
Libby McKinmer
This was a very exciting site for us to build because it was our
first chance to build a site for a suspense author, so we were able
to experiment with knives, guns, and smoke (just the images,
unfortunately). The design we finally went with--the curvy
menu, the creepy color scheme and the sexy legs--gives the site the
gorgeous, suspenseful, and edgy feel that our client was looking
for.
Tanya's Life Coaching
The site we built for life coach, Tanya Hertel, needed to be warm
and welcoming, reflective of the encouraging and empowering service
that Tanya provides to her clients. After picking the sunrise
picture for the index page, the rest of site just seemed to fall
into place, giving our client the inviting and professional feel she
wanted.
For her most recent inspirational
romance, On Sparrow Hill, Maureen Lang specifically requested
a trailer that reflected the English countryside where the book was
set, the love story, and underlying issues of servitude and faith.
We managed to combine all that, plus hints at a couple of her
amazing reviews, in a teaser trailer that really peaks a reader's
interest.
Chicago-North RWA
We're very proud of the site we built for
Chicago-North RWA. Besides overcoming the challenge of
finding a way to organize so much information in a way that was easy
to navigate, we also managed to make the site chic and elegant, just
like those writers and their city.
Margaret Watson
The site we built for
Margaret
Watson is also lovely, and it reflects the close-knit family and
small town themes of her recent writing. It turned out to be
much bigger and more complex than either of us predicted, but it
gave us a chance to incorporate some new elements, like the
book trailer
we created for her latest book, her
website
intro, and the computer
wallpaper promoting her upcoming book.
IllumaTech.com
Our latest website was actually for a computer consultant,
IllumaTech.com, but it gave us the opportunity to go in a whole
new direction. The site is both stylish and edgy. Check
out that
web
intro!
Sara Daniel
The site for
Sara Daniel is the very first site we ever built professionally.
It is both simple and beautiful, and the clean lines and bright
colors were just what our client was looking for.
Desktop Downloads
We started designing computer desktops
as a way for authors to promote upcoming releases. Readers and
fans can download these desktops to their computers. Once we
realized how nice they looked, we thought that all writers,
published or not, might like some
motivational desktops
of their own.
